The Planetary Outlook
The New Moon falls in the sign of Capricorn which tends to
make us all feel a little melancholy. The sign of Capricorn rules limitations,
restrictions, business, the economy and structure. This is a time to return to
the daily grind. With Mercury retrograde conjunct the New Moon it is a time to
reflect on the past year and take care of any loose ends we may have neglected
along the way. Pluto is also conjunct the New Moon giving us the desire to make
changes within ourselves and the world around us to improve the status quo. As
the New Year approaches many will make New Year’s resolutions. Pluto will give
you the strength and determination to carry out those resolutions but be
prepared to change and/or alter the course of your resolution when Mercury goes
direct on January 8th, 2017.
Also, the planet Mars will be conjunct Neptune in the sign
of Pisces over the New Year’s holiday indicating intoxication, deception, foggy
conditions, and covert actions. So… If you will be out celebrating make sure
you have an alternative plan for getting home in the event that you have a few too
many.
In Colorado Springs the New Moon falls in the 4th
house with Mercury Retrograde in conjunction, which is said to create blizzard
like conditions. This will occur around the 28th of December, give
or take a couple of days.
Be safe out there.
Happy New Year!
