Uranus Direct

The Planetary Outlook

Uranus Direct

On January 6, 2019 Uranus went direct and will leave the sign of Aries on March 6, 2019. He will be in the sign of Taurus until July 7, 2025. During his transit of Taurus we can expect shattering changes in regards to finances, cultural affairs, farming, and resources.

The last time that Uranus transited the sign of Taurus started on June 7, 1934 which was on the heels of the Great Depression and the rise of Hitler. On June 29, 1934 just days after Uranus entered the sign of Taurus Hitler ordered a purge of members in his own party that he feared would be future political enemies. This event is clearly seen from Hitler's natal chart as transiting Uranus conjuncts his natal Sun in the 7th house.

President Roosevelt had just come to power just a year prior to Uranus entering Taurus on March 4, 1933. At that time in history many were laden with debt, still out of work, and/or homeless. He spearheaded numerous reforms and social programs such as The New Deal, Agricultural Adjustment Administration, FDIC, and Social Security just to name a few.
With his natal Sun in the sign of Aquarius and transiting Uranus the planet of reform, change, unique thought and new ideas in his 8th house of other peoples money and resources we can clearly see at that he was a Uranian President.

Capricorn Solar Eclipse 1/5/19

The Planetary Outlook

Capricorn Solar Eclipse

On January 5, 2019 we have a Partial Solar Eclipse in the sign of Capricorn. The affects of a Solar Eclipse are usually felt for at least a year. This Eclipse is quite ominous for Washington DC as it falls in the 5th house which relates to children, places of entertainment and leisure, the stock market, and government representatives. The 5th house shows us whether the public is experiencing happiness and joy or sorrow.

The sign of Capricorn in and of itself indicates limitations, contraction, and restrictions. It lends to a feeling of melancholy. With not only the Solar Eclipse in the sign of Capricorn we have Mercury, Saturn, and Pluto creating a stellium in Capricorn. This is an indication that we are in for a period where one must work harder, make due with less, and conserve by reusing and recycling. The house that the Solar Eclipse falls in you natal chart shows how this event will affect you on a personal level.

Winter Solstice

The Planetary Outlook

On December 21, 2018 at 5:24 EST the Sun will entered the sign of Capricorn officially starting the winter season in the northern hemisphere, summer in the southern hemisphere and the last quarter of the astrological year.

A chart cast for the time and date that the Sun enters the sign of Capricorn gives us a glimpse of the coming trends and events for the next 3 months.

The Sun, Saturn, and Pluto are all in the sign of Capricorn indicating a focus on government, business, personal responsibilities, and obligations. There is an overall sense of limitations and restrictions during the Sun's transit of Capricorn which will increase as the Sun approaches a conjunction with Saturn on December 31, 2018.

With Saturn in the sign of Capricorn we are required to work hard to reap rewards. This is a time when concentration and persistence will pay off in the long run. In the short term we must be organized, determined, and steadfast to accomplish our ambitions. Saturn is only one third of the way through the sign of Capricorn so we are just beginning to see the affects of this transit.

With Pluto in the sing of Capricorn we as a whole are seeing the transformation of governments, businesses, as well as physical structures. It is a time for regenerating those things that are no longer useful or out dated. Pluto is two thirds of the way through the sign of Capricorn and we can plainly see the affects of this transit on a daily basis in the media headlines. With Saturn coming within 3 degrees orb of Pluto we will see an intensification of this planetary energy over the next 3 months and beyond as we approach the exact conjunction on January 12, 2020.

The planet Jupiter has returned to his home sign of Sagittarius and is joined by Mercury on the Winter Solstice. This is a great combination for expanding on thoughts, ideas, and setting goals. The only caution here is to not over expand beyond ones means. In most cases to much of a good thing ends up being a bad thing. With Mercury and Jupiter in a square aspect to Neptune there is a tendency to get lost in the details. It is helpful to those in the arts as one can produce work that touches the soul of others.

The planet Mars is in the sign of Pisces which creates difficulty in focus, consistency, and tends to dissipation of energy. When Mars returns to his home sign of Aries on January 1, 2019 the energy will shift to adventure, action, and forging ahead. As Mars is often called the angry planet it is a good time to avoid being impulsive and argumentative.

Mercury will enter the sign of Capricorn on January 4, 2019 just prior to the New Moon Eclipse in Capricorn again reinforcing that our attentions will be on the daily grind over the next three months.

December New Moon 2018

The Planetary Outlook

 New Moon in Sagittarius

On December 7, 2018 the New Moon will occur in the sign of Sagittarius and will be within orb of the planet Jupiter bringing us truly into Sagittarius season. This holiday season will have the feeling of prosperity and joy that most have not experienced in quite some time. I expect retailers to do very well during this time as Jupiter rules expansion, customers, and abundance.

On December 13, 2018 the planet Mercury re-enters the sign of Sagittarius turning out thoughts to the future and setting goals for the New Year. On the 21st of December Mercury will be conjunct Jupiter giving a sense of optimism and the ability to not only expand upon our plans but the energy to put them into action. This is a good time to negotiate agreements, formulate contracts, and creating marketing strategies.

The caution for the New Moon is to keep all things in moderation. Jupiter likes to make things bigger and better but must keep in the bounds of Saturn who rules the next New Moon. For instance if you over extend yourself financially during this New Moon Cycle you will have to deal with limits and restrictions of Saturn in the months ahead. The New Moon is also in a square aspect with Mars and Neptune which can lend to a feeling of confusion and a loss of which way to go, using alcohol, drugs, and fantasy as a means of escape from reality, and/or being deceived by others. So keep your feet on the ground whilst your head is in the clouds during this Sagittarian Season!

Election Day November 6,2018

The Planetary Outlook

US Election Day
November 6, 2018

On November 6, 2018 the United States has it's mid-term elections. The chart cast for that day at sunrise in Washington DC gives us a glimpse at what is in store for the country not only on election day but for weeks and months to come.

The North Node will enter the sign of Cancer which signifies a change in the attitude of the masses starting November 6th 2018 thru early May 2020. We will go from the dramatic, ambitious, and egotistical energy of Leo and enter the caring, nurturing, and sensitive energy of Cancer.

The sign of Cancer rules family, food, domestic life, and our homeland. Like the crab we will desire to retreat from the harshness of the world to our family and home for safety and comfort. A place where we can ride the tide, break bread, while connecting to our roots. Never underestimate the tender crab as the outer shell is tough enough to withstand the waves smashing it against the rocks, has the ability navigate itself into the best position where food is plentiful and it is able to defend it's territory.

The Moon will be at 29 degrees of Libra at sunrise on election day which will immediately square the North Node, enter the sign of Scorpio, and oppose Uranus. This planetary configuration shows frustration, quarreling, and difficulty throughout the day.

With the Moon entering the sign of Scorpio emotions will be at an all time high. We will see the spewing of hate, resentment, and mob mentality playing out in the streets and in the headlines. Allegations of voter fraud and suppression will be followed with multiple requests for recounts and investigations as both transiting Mercury and Venus are preparing to shift the planetary energy field. Nine days after the election Venus will go direct and Mercury will turn retrograde within 13 hours of each other.

On election day transiting Venus is in an exact square to Pluto of the US Chart indicating the desire of some individuals to reform, coerce, and/or manipulate others into agreeing with their personal values.

Transiting Mercury is in an opposition to Uranus in the US Chart indicating that there will be unexpected disruptions with electronics and transportation as well as a sense of nervous tension in the air.

The sign of Scorpio is co-ruled by the planet Mars which is at 24 degrees of Aquarius on election day. In the USA chart transiting Mars will be conjunct the Moon igniting the fire of passion for a cause. This planetary energy can be used for constructive action to bring about positive change, but those who choose to use this planetary energy in a negative way will be angry, frustrated, and vindictive.

The planet Uranus rules the sign of Aquarius and will re-enter the sign of Aries which is Mars home sign. This planetary energy can bring about rapid and decisive change. With the connections to the US Moon and transiting Venus I expect that it will bode well for women running for office.

October New Moon

The Planetary Outlook

 October New Moon

The New Moon is in the sign of Libra on October 8, 2018 MDT. Typically the New Moon in Libra is a time of harmony, peace, and romance. Unfortunately this New Moon is in an approaching square to Pluto indicating power struggles, aggressive behavior, jealousy, and the desire to manipulate and control others through emotional blackmail.

Those of you that have personal planets at 15 to 20 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn will be directly impacted by this New Moon.

The planet Venus rules the sign of Libra and turns retrograde three days prior to the New Moon on October 5, 2018. Venus goes retrograde approximately every 18 months and can bring about the return of friends or lovers from the past. With Venus in the sign of Scorpio the theme of control and manipulation is reinforced by this placement as she is in detriment.

Those of you that have personal planets at 9 to 14 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius will be affected by this planetary energy.

The planetary energy field indicates stormy weather ahead.

October 9th the Moon will conjunct Mercury at the time it has just entered the sign of Scorpio and come into opposition with the planet Uranus. Expect difficulty with transportation, mentally unbalanced individuals, and a feeling of unease in general.

October 10th the Moon will conjunct Venus as she is coming into an exact square with Mars bringing overdue relationship issues to a head.
