The planet Pluto has been retrograde since April 20, 2017 and is turning direct on September 28, 2017 at 16 degrees of Capricorn. 

Pluto is the planet of transformation and regeneration. The house that Pluto is transiting through in your natal chart shows the area of your life that will go through transformation and the personal planets he aspects indicates the timing of critical events. Pluto moves very slow and this can be a long and arduous process. As with all transformation there must be a death (symbolically) before there can be a new beginning.

Pluto is halfway through the sign of Capricorn and on a global level this is transformation of Government, business, structures, and traditions. He will be joined by Saturn in the sign of Capricorn in December of 2017. This is leading up to the conjunction of Pluto and Saturn on January 12, 2020 at 22 degrees of Capricorn. This conjunction only occurs about every 33 years marking a significant time in history. This time they will be joined by the Sun and Mercury all within 1 degree of each other. First Quarter Moon in Capricorn

The First Quarter Moon will be at 4 degrees of Capricorn on September 27, 2017 at 8:55 PM MDT. First Quarter Moons indicate obstacles and frustrations in our lives. If you know where this is energy is occurring in your natal chart you are forearmed to deal with the issues coming your way.

On the Global scale I use the Aries chart to see what is happening on the planet for the week. The Sun is in the sign of Libra square the Moon in Capricorn. The sign of Capricorn is a Cardinal sign which gives energy towards direct and dynamic action. It is ruled by Saturn which is limits, restrictions, karma, and the keeper of time. 

Saturn is in the sign of Sagittarius which highlights belief systems, higher education, and legal affairs over the next week. The house that transiting Saturn is in your natal chart will tell you where this energy is being expressed in your life.

Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter which governs expansion, ideological belief systems, and prosperity. Jupiter is approaching an exact opposition to Uranus on the day of the First Quarter Moon. 

The energy of Uranus is unpredictable, explosive, and revolutionary. When you have the planet of expansion and ideological belief systems in opposition to the planet of revolution and impulsiveness there is a clash between individuals over religion, culture, and righteousness. Both sides believe they are in the right and wish to impose their beliefs and ideals on the other side. We have seen this over and over again in the headlines throughout the last year as they have moved in and out of this alignment. These two planets are approaching their 3rd and final opposition of this cycle and will not be in opposition again until January 2031. 

As the Moon transits through the sign of Capricorn over the next few days it will activate this planetary energy field. It will be in an exact square to Jupiter and Uranus on the 29th of September. We will see it in the headlines being expressed through protests, confrontations, and impulsive actions on the global scale not just in America. 

In the US Mundane Chart this energy is occurring in a 6th to 12th house axis. With Uranus in the 12th house it indicates that there are secret instigators of the violence we have seen in the past protests that became violent. This opposition will be in an exact square to Pluto of the US Chart in the 3rd house of transportation, communication, and media. I expect that information will come to light through the Congress or Senate that will outrage a portion of the US Citizens which will spark more protests during this lunar cycle.

North Korea Lunar Return September 25, 2017

As the Moon returned to the degree of North Korea’s 10th house (public standing) Mundane Moon the Foreign Minister of North Korea states "Since the United States declared war on our country, we will have every right to make countermeasures, including the right to shoot down United States strategic bombers even when they are not inside the airspace border of our country."

Is it in the Stars?

In the Lunar Return chart the Sagittarian Moon falls in the 6th house of military affairs and is making a T-square aspect with transiting Venus conjunct Mars in Virgo in opposition to transiting Neptune in Pisces. Venus and Mars are in the 3rd house of communication, media, and transportation and in the sign of Virgo which rules civil servants and military affairs. Neptune is in the 9th house of foreigners, higher law, and air travel, and in the sign of Pisces which rules oceans, submarines, and ships. 

The Moon is in Sagittarius (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) which is ruled by Jupiter (rights). Transiting Jupiter in Libra (justice) is approaching and exact opposition with Uranus (unexpected events) in Aries (action,war). 

With Mars in opposition to Neptune there is a lot more going on here then meets the eye. This planetary energy gives way to secret plots, suppressed anger,  and self-undoing. It appears that North Korea believes it has found a way to justify their actions if they chose to shoot down planes, attack ships or submarines, and is giving it a spin in the media. 

North Korea September Update

The war of words continues between Kim Jong Un and President Trump. The leader of North Korea Kim Jong Un has threatened to test a Hydrogen Bomb in the Pacific and North Korea's Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho spoke at the General Debate of the U.N. General Assembly in New York stating the insults from President Trump made a rocket attack on the United States mainland more inevitable. 

What is happening in the heavens?

The day (9/22/17) that Kim Jung Un made a personal statement directed at President Trump, Mercury the planet of communication and media was conjunct the Sun (the ruler of the country) of the North Korean Mundane Chart.  Transiting retrograde Pluto (nuclear weapons) re-entered (9/18/17) the 11th house (aims of the country) of North Korea's Mundane chart and is trine the natal Sun conjunction to transiting Mercury. As I stated in the article I wrote North Korea's Horoscope 

"Transiting Pluto Retrograde  (nuclear power) is in the 12th house (secrets) and is making a trine aspect to South Korea's natal Sun (I AM). Which means they are putting it in the face of President Trump and the world that they are indeed becoming a Nuclear Power."

My forecast of this was proven true today (9/23/17) by the statement made by North Korea's Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho at the United Nations in New York. "Through such a prolonged and arduous struggle, now we are finally only a few steps away from the final gate of completion of the state nuclear force, more sanctions against the North would not deter it".  Ri said that his country's nuclear force is "to all intents and purposes, a war deterrent for putting an end to nuclear threat of the U.S. and for preventing its military invasion, and our ultimate goal is to establish the balance of power with the U.S."

Will they make good on their threats?

The New Moon in North Korea's Mundane chart was in the 7th house. This house in mundane astrology corresponds to
foreign relations, open enemies, war, and treaties. The house that the New Moon falls in shows the focus of the country for the lunar cycle. This New Moon was in Virgo and is ruled by Mercury which was conjunct Mars indicating a war of words.

As I go over the charts for the days, weeks, and months ahead there are times of concern but I have found nothing definitive at this time indicating an all out nuclear war. 

The first time of concern for more rattling of the sabers will be on September 24-26 as Mercury comes into a square with North Korea's Jupiter and the Scorpion Moon squares their Leo Saturn. Saturn rules the house of secrets and the Scorpio Moon brings to light what is hidden. Square aspects indicate quarrels and action that must be taken. With Mars (weapons) in an exact opposition to Neptune (oceans) on the 24th it gives concern for them following through on launching a hydrogen bomb into the ocean. Hopefully it will only be a display of weapons versus an actual launch. On the 25th the Moon will conjunct the Moon of North Korea which rules their military and will then square the transiting Mars/Neptune opposition. On the 26th the Moon will conjunct the transiting Saturn conjunct natal Jupiter with transiting Mercury still within or to square this conjunction. During this time transiting Jupiter (ideological beliefs) is approaching it's 3rd and final opposition to Uranus (unexpected events).

September's First Quarter Moon on September 27th. The Moon will be in Capricorn which rules Governments and Capricorn is ruled by Saturn. That makes aspects to and from Saturn significant for the coming week. Transiting Saturn is conjunct North Korea's 10th house Jupiter indicating that they are really feeling the limits and restrictions put on them through the sanctions. Their natal Saturn is in Leo and ruled by the Sun. Mars (action) is approaching a conjunction to the North Korean Sun (Kim Jong Un) and will be exact on  September 30th this conjunction will trine transiting Pluto. Pluto will turn direct on September 28th and the Moon will conjunct Pluto and trine North Korea's Sun. The 28-30 is another critical time where we may see another missile launch or bomb test.

When the Sun moves into Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) we begin a new season. Charts cast for that exact moment for a given place tells us what will be happening for that area until the next season. The exception to the rule is Aries as it is the beginning of the Astrological year and gives us the big picture for the year.

The Sun moves into Libra on September 22, 2017 at 4:03 P.M. EDT and the chart is cast for Washington, DC.

The Sun is in the 8th house which governs taxes, debt, insurance, jointly held monies such as social security, the stock market, public income, and financial affairs of other nations. These will be the issues making the headlines over the next three months. 

The 8th house of the Autumn Equinox chart is ruled by Mercury and he is in the  8th house as well. Mercury rules communication, transportation, education, and the media. Mercury is still within orb of a conjunction to Mars. Mars is also in Virgo and the 8th house. This indicates that we will still see heated words being exchanged in regards to health care, cost of insurance, insurance claims issues, and the tax code in the headlines. With Mercury/Mars still conjunct in an opposition to Neptune in the 2nd house there will be confusion in regards to finances, theft or fraud by charitable organizations, inaccurate reporting of events, and most likely a fluctuation in the cost of oil and gas.

Mercury is applying to Saturn in Sagittarius in the 11th house showing obstacles and frustrations in the senate and congress over foreign affairs, taxes, health insurance, and raising the debt ceiling. 

Jupiter rules Sagittarius and is in the 9th house of higher law, belief systems, and foreigners. Jupiter is approaching his 3rd and final opposition to Uranus in the 3rd house of transportation, communication, education, and the media. This aspect was in effect at the Presidential Inauguration and as Jupiter approaches an exact opposition to Uranus on September 27th 2017 I expect we will see more protests between the 24-29. With this planetary energy being in a 3rd to 9th house axis protests will likely occur at places of education, religious centers, and/or court houses. 

As Predicted

September 23 - 27

On September 23
UC Berkeley cancelled all Free Speech Week activities due to the animosity between students based on their opposing ideological and political beliefs. After the announcement that the event was cancelled about 300 protesters showed up, dozens were wearing masks and some were wearing hats of the anarchist hats of the "Anti-fa" group.

September 24 
Some of the speakers scheduled for "Free Speech Week" and 100's of supporters arrived at the Berkeley Campus despite the cancellation for a "Free Speech March". Masks and weapons were banned. By the end of the speech by Milo Yiannopoulos anti-Trump protesters had arrived at the campus. According to Berkeley police at least 11 people were arrested.

September 25
Anti-white supremacists protested at Berkeley Campus. One person was arrested for wearing a mask.

September 26
Fights broke out near Sproul Plaza between liberal and conservative groups such as BAMN (by all means necessary) and Patriots Prayer. Three arrests were made.

The Moon is in Scorpio as it was the day that President Trump was inaugurated and I will not be surprised if some of the protests turn into riots as they did around the inauguration. Scorpio is the sign of transformation, hate, resentment, and tyranny. With the Moon in this sign it shows the intensity of the emotions of the people. As we have seen since the inauguration there are those who wish to impose their beliefs and ideals on others, incite violence, and spew hate. The Moon rules the 7th house of open enemies and with it being in the 9th house of foreign countries this will be a concern for the country for at least the next three months. 

With the Moon in Scorpio conjunct Jupiter we will see more protests in regards to ideological belief systems, legal decisions, and boarder disputes. 

Scorpio is ruled by Pluto and it is in the 12th house of secret enemies, criminal activity, and manipulation. With Pluto in the sign of Capricorn it indicates secret enemies of the Government who intend to disrupt and create chaos.

September New Moon 9/19/17

Virgo New Moon

September 20, 2017

Septembers New Moon is at 27 degrees of Virgo and is joined by Mercury, Mars, and Venus in this sign as well. Virgo is the sign of work, social servants, public health, and animals. This tends to be a busy time for people as they are working towards preparing for the change in seasons. Most of us are not even aware that we participate in these cycles. In the Northern Hemisphere it is the end of the season and we are scurrying along to prepare for fall and finish up any projects we started in the spring. In the Southern Hemisphere it is spring and is the time to begin projects around the house and yard.

The New Moon is in almost an exact inconjunct aspect to the planet Uranus in Aries. Inconjunct aspects to the New Moon indicate sudden unexpected events and disruptions that require us to make adjustments in our daily routine. 

Virgo is ruled by Mercury so we look to the aspects that transiting Mercury is making the other planets to garner more information. Mercury is in almost exact opposition with Neptune indicating confusion, miscommunication, and deception. Mercury is still within orb of being in conjunction with Mars so heated words are still at play during this Lunar Cycle. 

Using an Aries house system we look at the Global Population as a whole and with Virgo ruling public health and Mercury the ruler of Virgo in opposition to Neptune which rules diseases it does give concern for a public health crisis during this Lunar Cycle. Aspects from the 1st to the 6th in an individuals natal chart indicates health issues. So we have the New Moon in Virgo which rules the 6th house (public health, transportation) inconjunct Uranus (sudden events) in Aries which rules the 1st house (the common people), Mercury in Virgo (public health, transportation) in opposition to Neptune in Pisces (diseases, water, gas, oil) and Mars in Virgo (public health, transportation) approaching an exact opposition to Neptune in Pisces (diseases, water, gas, oil). Three times in this chart it shows a public crisis due to disease, contaminated water, problems with gas and/or oil as well as transportation.

Update As Predicted

As predicted there would be a health crisis in regards to public health. In Madagascar 24 people have died and more than 130 people have been infected as October 4, 2017. The disease is spreading rapidly throughout the country. 

In Puerto Rico there is a public crisis due to Maria which hit on September 20, 2017. They are having problems with getting water, food, and goods due to transportation issues.

To discover where this event is likely to occur on the planet you would have to cast charts for every country and city. I went through many charts of different countries and obviously can't go through them all. I came up with a list that this New Moon is impacting.

France 

New Moon is in the 8th house which rules transformation, taxes, insurance, debt, and with it conjunct the natal Sun of France a possible passing of a significant figure in the country.

Does not fit the signature of a public crisis.

Japan

New Moon is in the 1st house of the people inconjunct transiting Uranus/Natal Jupiter. Jupiter rules the 4th house which is the land and peoples homes in Japan. This New Moon is also inconjunct Japan's natal north node in the 6th house of military and public health. Natal Mercury is in an inconjunct aspect the transiting Mercury/Mars conjunction. This does fit the signature of a public crisis somewhat and in light of the fact that they have a typhoon headed their way and the North Korean Leader making threats to their country it comes as no surprise that their mundane chart shows stress.

Lebanon

The New Moon is in the 7th house conjunct the natal Moon which indicates the people of Lebanon are affected by this Lunar Cycle. It is inconjunct transiting Uranus in the 2nd house of money and square the natal Saturn in the 4th house of land and home. This appears that the cost of housing is high compared to income but does not fit the signature of a public crisis.

Mexico

The New Moon is in the 6th house of public health inconjunct Uranus in the 1st house of the people conjunct the natal Saturn/Jupiter conjunction. The natal conjunction of Saturn/Jupiter was activated by the August 21, 2017 Solar Eclipse. Mexico had an 8.2 earthquake on September 7, 2017 as the Mercury/Mars conjunction passed over the Solar Eclipse Degree and at the time of this writing on September 14, 2017 Mexico was just hit by a category 1 hurricane as the Mercury/Mars conjunction transited the North Node of the Mexico  Mundane Chart. There is a tropical storm brewing that is expected to reach hurricane strength and hit Mexico along the Baja by Monday. On Monday the Moon will join the Mercury/Mars conjunction and oppose Neptune just prior to the New Moon.

The New Moon will oppose the natal Pluto and square natal Uranus indicating wide spread disasters in the country. With the New Moon inconjunct natal Saturn in the 1st house of the people which rules the 10th house of the Government and President of the country it indicates having to deal with a national public crisis. 

Update As Predicted 

As predicted on September 19, 2017 just hours before the New Moon Mexico was hit by a 7.1 earthquake. The death toll was 369 and 6,011 people were injured. 

Qatar

The New Moon is in the 4th house of the people and land in an exact conjunction to natal Pluto which rules transformation. It is inconjunct to transiting Uranus in the 11th house of allies, desires, and parts of the government. This doesn't fit the public crisis signature, it is an indication of adjustments having to be made in regards to the aims of the nation due to unexpected changes with allies.

UK

The New Moon is in the 3rd house of transportation and communication with transiting Uranus (unexpected events) in the 10th house (government). Transiting Uranus (explosives) in Aries (violence) is in an opposition to the 4th house Moon (the people, land). Transiting Mercury/Mars (transportation/accidents) conjunction is in the 3rd house (transportation, communication) in an opposition to transiting Neptune (chaos, secrets) conjunct natal Uranus in the 9th house (foreigners, immigration). Transiting Mars (violence) is in an exact inconjunct aspect to natal Mercury (communication,transportation). In the UK mundane chart Mercury rules the 12th house of secret enemies. This does show a public crisis signature in regards to acts of violence being perpetrated through means of transportation. The New Moon is in an approaching conjunction with Natal Saturn/IC so I would expect the government to make adjustments to the policing of activities in regards to transportation. On the 28th of September Mercury will activate the New Moon position, so the 27-30 of September are days to take precautions if you are traveling to or from or live in the UK.

USA 

The New Moon is in the 11th house (aims, legislation, allies) inconjunct Uranus in the 6th house (common people, civil servants, military). It is also in a separating inconjunct aspect the the natal Moon (people, land) in the 4th house (home). When the New Moon is making a separating aspect to a natal planet it indicates that the event has already taken place and the need to deal with it will be the work of this Lunar Cycle. If you follow my blog you will remember that I forecast another disaster on the horizon predicted by September Last Quarter Moon. I stated that the tension with North Korea would escalate which it has and I expect that to continue. We also have hurricane Jose threatening the East Coast of the US. As the transiting Mercury/Mars conjunction squares (16th-18th) the US natal Uranus I expect both of these issues to be in the headlines and on people's minds.                                                                                                                                                  Update As Predicted

United Nations - North Korea's deputy UN ambassador warned on Monday that the situation on the Korean peninsula "has reached the touch-and-go point and a nuclear war may break out any moment".

October 19

North Korea on Thursday strongly condemned naval maneuvers that the US is presently carrying out with South Korea on the peninsula, and threatened to launch an "unimaginable strike" against them.                                                                                                               

Mercury (communication) the ruler of the New Moon is conjunct Mars (anger) in the 10th house (government) and in a separating square to natal Uranus (unexpected events) in the 8th house (transformation, taxes, insurance). This combination does fit the public crisis signature of the New Moon and indicates harsh words to and from the President by Congress, the Senate,  and people in regards to the recent hurricanes and the recovery process. Legislation in regards to insurance and tax reform will also be in the headlines. 

Last Quarter Moon September 13, 2017

Last Quarter Moon in Gemini

The Last Quarter Moon is on September 13, 2017 in Gemini squaring the Sun in Virgo at 20 degrees. Last Quarter Moons give us a push to complete projects and have a feeling of urgency about them. This one will be particularly difficult if it is aspecting any personal planets in your natal chart as the Moon is in opposition to Saturn and the Sun is square Saturn. Saturn is the planet of limitations, restrictions, and is an immovable force. 

With the Moon in Gemini which is ruled by Mercury this indicates difficulty in daily affairs such as transportation, communication, delays, and commerce. If you have somewhere to go give yourself plenty of time to get there as this looks like a gridlock in traffic. Mercury is approaching an exact conjunction to Mars in Virgo and indicates harsh words, hot tempers, and road rage will be prevalent. 

I have placed this Quarter Moon chart in the US mundane chart to see how it is manifesting here as the country in under great stress from the fires to the hurricanes and floods. Last Quarter Moon's are in affect for one week so this forecast pertains to September 13-19, 2017 MST.

The Last Quarter Moon (people,health, food, water) is in the 8th house (transformation, insurance, public income) conjunct Natal Mars (violence, police) while the Sun (The President and government) is in the 11th house (legislation) conjunct Natal Neptune (hospitals, charities, chemical leaks, fraud). Transiting Saturn (land, structures, national disasters) is in the 2nd house (national wealth, assets, economy) opposite the Moon/Mars (anger, violence) conjunction and square the Sun/Neptune (disappointment, weariness) conjunction. 

What does it all mean?

It shows that the finances of the country and the people are under great stress due to the natural disasters that have and are occurring. Many people will be in need of assistance from the Government and be filing insurance claims for loss of or damage to personal property. Resources will be limited and difficult to come by. Hospitals will be overwhelmed and understaffed during the coming week. Be careful who you chose to donate to as this planetary combination shows fraud through charitable orginizations.

With the Moon in Gemini we look to the planet Mercury for more information on the coming week. Mercury has entered the sign of Virgo which rules the common people and is conjunct Mars the planet of anger. Mercury/Mars conjunction is applying to a square aspect with natal Uranus in the 8th house. It is best to avoid people that are confrontational and exhibiting erratic behavior. Uranus (upheaval, disruption, hurricanes) rules the 4th house of the the US Mundane chart and with Mercury/Mars conjunct and applying to Uranus it indicates that another disaster is on the horizon. This conjunction will perfect on the 16th of September at 7 degrees of Virgo and will be activated by the Moon on the 18th of September. On the 19th just prior to the New Moon Mercury will come into an exact opposition with Neptune which indicates more weather related incidents, chemical spills, and/or acts of violence. 

North Korea

September's Last Quarter Moon is also making tense aspects to the mundane chart of North Korea. So I expect that we will see more rattling of the sabers in the headlines. I will not be surprised if they launch another missile as Mars the planet of war/violence is in the 7th house of open enemies squaring the natal Moon of the people in the 10th house of reputation. In the North Korea mundane chart the 6th house of military is ruled by the Moon. Due to the square aspect between transiting Mars and the mundane Moon I expect that their efforts will be frustrated and unsuccessful. The mundane planet Jupiter rules public standing of North Korea and their leader. This Quarter Moon is in opposition to mundane Jupiter and transiting Saturn is conjunct mundane Jupiter and the Sun is square mundane Jupiter. This indicates that there will be significant limits and restrictions placed on this country and their leader. The planet Mercury rules the Quarter Moon and is approaching an exact square to North Korea's Moon so I expect that there will be heated words and more threats to the US as Mercury approaches and exact conjunction with transiting Mars on the 16th of September and will be activated by the Moon on the 18th.

September Full Moon

The Full Moon of September is in the sign of Pisces and it is conjunct Neptune the ruler of Pisces. This Full Moon is reactivating the Solar Eclipses of September 1, 2016 and February 26, 2017. The effect of an eclipse can be a year or more depending on the type and length of an eclipse. Think back on what was happening in your life at those times as this Full Moon will bring those issues to the fore. Full Moons signify culmination and completion and for some this Full Moon will bring closure to a chapter in their lives. 

On a global scale this Full Moon indicates that there will be a lot of confusion, illusion, and chaos over the next couple of weeks. This can come about through weather, transportation, and/or delays. The Sun and Mercury are in mutual reception (each others sign) and Mercury goes Direct the day before the Full Moon. Mercury is with in minutes of an exact trine to Uranus so I expect that there will be sudden and unexpected information being released through the media. With Venus making an inconjunct aspect to Neptune  and approaching an inconjunct with Pluto some will feel disillusioned and saddened by what they hear.

We will also see the same types of issues in the headlines that were occurring around the Solar Eclipses of September 1, 2016 and February 26, 2017.  The planet Mercury stationed retrograde at 11 degrees of Virgo on August 12, 2017 and began the reactivation of these two eclipses. Both of these Solar Eclipses had a strong Mercury and Neptune signature as the North Nodes were in the Virgo/Pisces axis and both planets were being significantly aspected in the chart.

With the Full Moon of September 6, 2017 being in Pisces conjunct the Planet Neptune I would expect hurricane Irma to follow the track of the Neptune line from the Solar Eclipse which would make it take a more westerly trek up the west side of Florida.
