December New Moon 2018

The Planetary Outlook

 New Moon in Sagittarius

On December 7, 2018 the New Moon will occur in the sign of Sagittarius and will be within orb of the planet Jupiter bringing us truly into Sagittarius season. This holiday season will have the feeling of prosperity and joy that most have not experienced in quite some time. I expect retailers to do very well during this time as Jupiter rules expansion, customers, and abundance.

On December 13, 2018 the planet Mercury re-enters the sign of Sagittarius turning out thoughts to the future and setting goals for the New Year. On the 21st of December Mercury will be conjunct Jupiter giving a sense of optimism and the ability to not only expand upon our plans but the energy to put them into action. This is a good time to negotiate agreements, formulate contracts, and creating marketing strategies.

The caution for the New Moon is to keep all things in moderation. Jupiter likes to make things bigger and better but must keep in the bounds of Saturn who rules the next New Moon. For instance if you over extend yourself financially during this New Moon Cycle you will have to deal with limits and restrictions of Saturn in the months ahead. The New Moon is also in a square aspect with Mars and Neptune which can lend to a feeling of confusion and a loss of which way to go, using alcohol, drugs, and fantasy as a means of escape from reality, and/or being deceived by others. So keep your feet on the ground whilst your head is in the clouds during this Sagittarian Season!
