The Planetary outlook
The
Full Moon is in Aries on October 5, 2017 and it is the harvest moon this year. Sometimes the harvest moon is in September and sometimes it is in October. The Full Moon closest to the Autumn Equinox determines which one is the harvest moon. When the harvest moon falls in October it indicates an extended growing season.
The Full Moon is at 12 degrees of Aries and is in affect for two weeks. Full Moons by themselves can be contentious but when they fall in Aries they are more likely to bring emotional drama to the fore. Aries is ruled by Mars the red angry planet of war, impulsive action, and conflict.
When well aspected in a chart the Full Moon can bring compromise and reunions. With Mars transiting in a conjunction with Venus it softens Mars action and with Venus/Mars in a separating trine with Pluto there are transformations in relationships for good or bad. Some with have a rebirth and some will end.
There is a caution here as Mars/Venus are approaching a square to Saturn. Venus square to Saturn leaves one feeling unloved and can result in separations. Mars square Saturn is irresistible force meeting immovable object which can result in quarrels and obstacles in attaining that which one desires.
This Full Moon is in an approaching T-square aspect with Pluto, which means both the Sun and Moon are square (frustration, obstacles, quarreling) to Pluto. This indicates power plays, manipulation, and coercion. With both the Sun and Moon throwing light onto Pluto, secrets may come to light during the Full Moon phase.
The planet Mercury is also active on the Full Moon as it is conjunct the Sun and opposite the Moon. Mercury is the planet of communication, transportation, and the Media. The Sun and Mercury will perfect their conjunction on October 8th and will square Pluto. The 7th thru the 9th of October is a time when truth will come to light out of the darkness. It is also a time to be careful in your daily commute as Mercury does rule transportation. There may be frustrations and delays due to unforeseen circumstances, construction and/or weather related incidents.
In the US Mundane Chart the Full Moon is in a 6th house (military, daily affairs) to 12th house (secret enemies, secrets) house axis and falls on Mundane Saturn in the 12th house. In the US Mundane Chart Saturn rules the 3rd house (schools, bus stations, train stations, airports) and is creating a cardinal square with transiting Pluto in the 3rd house (transportation, media) opposite the US Sun in the 9th house (foreign affairs, long distant travel, legal affairs). This indicates a series of crisis that must be dealt with for the country. On the 6th of October the Moon will square US Mundane Mercury (transportation), conjunct transiting Uranus (unexpected events) which is square (obstacles) the US Mundane Pluto (transformation) and oppose Jupiter (ideological beliefs) in the 12th house of secret enemies. I advise caution in travel this day whether it is short or long.
On the 10th of October the Moon enters the 8th house of the US Mundane Chart and conjuncts Mundane Mars (rules the 6th house of military) activating the transiting Saturn opposition to Mundane Mars and both are squared transiting Mars. On the Global Scale this plays out very differently. Mars rules the Full Moon and is in the sign of Virgo which governs military affairs. He is an approaching square with Saturn which indicates conflict with police, government, and/or military, suppressed anger, and ruthless ambition. This aspect will perfect and be activated by the Moon on October 10, 2017. We will see this energy play out in the headlines from the 9th thru the 11th.

Jupiter is also changing signs on the 10th of October from Libra (compromise) to the sign of Scorpio (treachery, tyranny). Jupiter is in the 12th house of secret enemies and indicates a shift in tactics of those who wish to cause chaos and disruption in the US.
